 HOW TO RE-ORDER PREVIOUS JOBS OR COPY QUOTES

STEP 1: Log in and click on the MY ORDERS tab.
STEP 2: Find a previous order or quote only, then click VIEW to open it.
STEP 3: Click COPY ORDER.
STEP 4: Once the order has been copied, you can edit the ticket details (job name, site, account number, finish size, due date, etc.). You can also click ADD NEW FILE to upload a new or additional file.
STEP 5: Click SAVE to save your changes and continue.
STEP 6: The updated order page will appear. Scroll to the bottom and select SUBMIT ORDER (or CANCEL ORDER, if needed).
STEP 7: You will receive an automatic confirmation email once your order has been submitted.

 UPLOADING ELECTRONIC FILES: 

Submitting Print Orders

When submitting a print order, you will have the option to attach/upload a file. We strongly recommend doing this to:

  • Speed up turnaround time

  • Allow remote submission from your site/school

    •  If your file is too large, you will receive an error message.

  • Document files: will automatically be converted to PDF (if possible).

  • Graphic/image files: (PNG, JPG, TIF) can be uploaded “as is.”

If You Don’t Have a Digital File

  • Need edits to a file already on-file at the Print Shop?
    Select “Graphic Work” on the WebDesk. Then either:

    1. Mark changes on a sample, scan it as a PDF, and upload it to your job ticket, or

    2. Type the requested changes in the comments section of your job ticket.

  • Sending a hard copy to show the changes?
    Add a note in the comments section of your job ticket stating that a hard copy is coming via District mail.

Hard Copy Fee

  • Hard copies incur a scanning fee:

    • $0.10 per page (single-sided)

    • $0.20 per page (double-sided)

  • Digital files created from scanning can be saved to your order for future use (please specify if you want this).

Trouble Uploading Files?

If you cannot upload your file:

  1. Submit your order online.

  2. Email your file, along with your Job #, to: printshop@iusd.org

Graphics with a “Bleed”

A bleed is when ink prints to the edge of the paper.

  • Copiers leave a 1/8" (.125") white margin around all sides.

  • To create a bleed:

    • Set up your page size 1/8" larger on all sides

    • Add crop marks if possible

  • Bleeds usually require:

    • Printing on larger paper

    • Trimming to final size

    • Additional charges (cutting, larger paper, etc.)

Please note in “Special Instructions” if you would like a bleed cut. Contact us with questions.
